Gauge Cluster

Some odd parts are falling into place at some odd times. I would not expect to pick these up so soon but there is no way I could pass these up. Don’t know too much about them but I do know they came from a late 1930’s – early 1940’s Hupmobile. If you can believe it these are NOS..never in a car. The speedo still says 00000, how cool is that.

Tranny Support

Not too big of an addition to the parts bin, but I am going to try to document most everything on here. So here is a nice little NOS tranny support I picked up that will do nicly when I convert my drive train to open shaft.

Uncle was an Old Rodder

Posted in Hotrod by kevin

Well since I am a bit late coming in to the hobby I missed a huge opportunity to learn about cars when I was little. The more and more questions I ask, I find that my Uncle has built or knows something on just about everything I am looking to build. He doesn’t have a lot left from his early days but here are a few pics he shared with me (thats him in the suit).

Mitchell Over/Under Drive

Posted in Documents, Hotrod by kevin

So I have been talking with my Uncle who is an Old Tea Timer, and I brought the idea of a quick change rear end and he metioned he had a Mitchell Over/Under.  I want to get some opinions on the idea so I set the question in to the cosmic H.A.M.B. I will keep you posted of my findings.

Here are a couple refrence pictures.

Sold the Hydros

Well I sold the Hydros over on th H.A.M.B. Not for much but recouping anything you spend is always good news.

I still have a lot of learning to do on the 37′ LaSalle but I am really itching to dig in. For once in my life I am going to try try and take my time on this project.
